Jacob had a great day today at his piano recital. He played Toccata and Fugue, Chopsticks (duet - high notes), and Linus and Lucy (duet - low notes).

Jacob had his first piano recital today. We never know what is going to happen when he gets in front of the piano. He did great! He listened to Mr. Bond and played his three songs on stage in front of a big audience.

Jacob will play along with his favorite songs. Here he waits until it gets to his favorite part and then joins in.
Jacob is still a little wobbly in this video from a few weeks ago, but he has been getting more and more stable over the last several weeks. He knows the layout of our living room, so he feels comfortable moving from place to place. He has started to explore the kitchen and foyer, too.

Jacob is learning to say a few words...
Jacob has learned to play several nursery rhymes just by listening to his toys. Here he plays Old MacDonald. Not bad for a 2 year old who can't see the keys!
